Brief Biographical Sketch:
I am a first year PhD student in the Materials Science department at Northwestern. I completed my undergraduate degree in Materials Science at Cornell University. My many hobbies include cooking, skiing, and karate. I have studied Isshinryu karate for 14 years and hold a second degree black belt in the style. I was also a highly active member and served as president of Cornell's karate club.
