What is Splash?

Splash is an outreach event that invites high school students from the Chicagoland area to come to Northwestern and participate in classes put on by Northwestern students like yourself! Splash brings the community together by allowing people to teach about topics they're truly passionate about and allowing high school students to take classes on topics they wouldn't otherwise learn about in school.

Important Announcement!
If you are interested in teaching, you are required to attend both Teacher Training Sessions!

Training Training 1: April 13th, 7-8 pm in Tech M177 OR April 15th, 11 am -12 pm in Tech M177
Teacher Training 2: April 27th, 7-8 pm in Tech M177 OR April 29th, 11 am -12 pm in Tech M177

Splash is a great experience for those really enthusiastic about hobbies or topics they love to talk about and for those who are really interested in teaching. We bring you students that picked your class because it sounded interesting! You can also teach with your friends for more fun or teach a class with your student organization to provide exposure and outreach.

Also, all teachers are eligible for $30 per class section to offset the cost of class supplies!

Teacher Training Seminars

If you need help developing your class, don't worry! We will be holding teacher training seminars to help you develop your curriculum in preparation for Splash! These will be held in two separate sessions, the first of which will be on April 13 and 15 2023 (you can go to either!) for our spring Splash! You are required to attend the training sessions if you are interested in teaching.

We will also be hosting office hours every Thursday from 6-7pm until the event! Zoom link here.
