S303: You're Hot Then You're Cold: The Effect of Extreme Temperatures on Materials in Splash 2017 (Apr. 29, 2017)

We'll be learning about materials science principles in extreme temperatures. There may or may not be liquid nitrogen and fire! You'll perform a variety of hands-on demonstrations to discover the effects of different temperatures on materials. Demonstrations and discussions will take place in small groups (approx. 5 students/group)
