Brief Biographical Sketch:

Natalie is a junior theatre major at Northwestern in the Musical Theatre Certificate Program. She has been studying voice her whole life, and has been teaching lessons to students ranging from ages 9-21. She is passionate about vocal health, vocal technique, phonetics, and helping students achieve the sound and tone they have inside! As a trained singer herself, she knows the dedication and work it takes to strengthen the muscle that is the voice, and she is excited to share that with her students.

A596: Master Class in Musical Theatre Voice in Splash 2022 (Apr. 02, 2022)

Calling at musical theatre lovers! In this course, we will be working through songs of the musical theatre canon. Students will learn about vowel modification, the structure of the voice, the different placements within a vocal range, and how to achieve a brighter tone. Bring in a piece from a show that you like to sing, and we'll work together to make it shine in your voice!
