H407: Philosophy of Consciousness in Splash 2019 (Apr. 06, 2019)
Consciousness is arguably the fabric of the universe - at the least the universe you perceive and interact with on a daily basis. Despite the rich history of philosophical contemplation and scientific inquiry, we still do not have a satisfactory explanation for the origin/nature of conscious experience. In addition to exploring these concepts and paradigms, this course will guide participants in the self-examination of visual and tactile perception using illusions.
