Both of us are freshmen at Northwestern studying pre-med. We couldn't live without music. The ability to analyze and interpret what is communicated to us is an important skill to have. What better way to practice it than with the music that we love?!?!

S279: Chemistry at Hogwarts in Splash 2014 (Apr. 06, 2014)
"There will be no foolish wand-waving or silly incantations in this class. As such, I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that is potion-making. However, for those select few... Who possess, the predisposition... I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death." -- Severus Snape

A72: Musical Analysis in Splash 2011 (Apr. 02, 2011)

This class introduces several skills necessary to increase one's ability to analyze the meaning of different types of popular songs, and why they are so powerful.
